The Walk Written by Zenobia Harris The Walk Written by Zenobia Harris Every Monday after school Jason's father asked him to walk to the store for bread. The usual irritation from this request surfaced, due to the walks lasting 30 minutes both to and fro. However, Jason never complained. Personally I like the way you write. I love words and thinking. However, depending on your goal for your poem your reader may get bored. This is not because the poem itself lacks anything. If you want to reach a general audience then there are to many five letter words. Now if you are trying to amuse those that enjoy reading into poems and wondering why the writer choose to use those set of words, then it is great.
This was truly elegant. The rhythm of the poem is absolutly perfect. And not perfect meaning without fawls. However, perfect for the writer and the reader to be on the same page. It was like reading some form of Edgar Allen Poe, but you know it was not. I don't think this was dark at all. It is the way you make your point is so simple and dramatic at the same time. Many are able to do so, but few are able to do it so elegantly as you and Edgar Allen Poe.
From the title I see the details of the dream and memory. However, I am not sure if I understand the definition. The description of this dream are good, but I am not sure what picture I should have in my mind. If you don't wish to change the words of the poem, maybe the title can be redirected.
