I use to wonder how old people could just say anything they felt and usually get away with it.  But now I have reached that age and just don’t give ‘five firecrackers in hell’ what people think about me, or what I do or who I am.  I thank only God for the journey that hasn’t ended yet. I do however thank you for reading anything I write ;) I continue to put pictures that I have taken from many places I hope you enjoy.  The photo is the road down by my apartment in germany.

I would like to tell you a story about my best friend Barley and the day we were given our powers. When the plan was revealed and all of us were given a way to defend themselves; well it was just like on every other occasion, Barley the turtle was not present. He had been downstairs reading as usual. He decided to be really brave and said: “Since I was absent, and you did not miss me, I should get the best power of all.” I wish to see The Maker. “Well that’s a fine thing for you to say”, said...

Today is Memorial Day 2008. A year has come and gone since I wrote this. I am continuing to put my story on paper. I have a lot of life stories. Life is really a long drawn out process. I believe that we are here for a reason. I hope that my children and theirs’ will know something about me and their past. Each chapter is a lesson lived and learned. Remembering is the easy part. Putting it down on paper I hope I can give it justice. I have been spending these last four days trying to forget w...

The End of the Rainbow So we all know how the story goes: The wind and the rain came for forty days and forty nights and after a period of time the waters receded. Now what we know is this. That our Lord made a promise that he would not again destroy the earth and its inhabitants in this way again. So to us, to save that promise he placed the Rainbow in the sky. Today as the storm passed, I saw the end of the Rainbow, two in fact. There wasn't a pot of gold, or a leprechaun. There was a just ...

I'm livin in a world of pain lots to lose lots to gain It seems like every other night it rains The thunder echo’s the roar of life’s bad decisions Heartbreaks, Unpaid bills beat down hard On me like a hard Georgia summer storm at night Flash backs lights up the sky like lightning Jumping across the sky making, the shadows show me What tries to hide or be forgotten? My life, my world Like my hurt from a girl, Embarrassment. Its funny the word {fuck} help me so much F** that bitch F** this shi...

GLORY, GLORY. That is what my dad always sings when he is about to make my life turn upside down. Hearing him singing that, you know that life is going to change, again. Funny, how that makes him and mom so happy, and turns my stomach into fearful knots. My name is Del, and three days ago, I turned 10. Today as oppose to five months ago, I live in Marksville. A very little town outside of an army base. I heard my dad singing as he was walking up the sidewalk. I know that song, I hate that so...

Humor/Satire / no title yet...(part 2)
I started reading this and realize it is a part 2. I did find it interesting how you go between the characters and then at the end bring it together. I did find myself saying get on with it. I did not see any spelling mistakes or anything that blared out to me. I enjoyed the banter between Lacie and Kerri. It was real and felt like something friends will and would do. I think most people can relate to a friend that does not have a filter between their brain and mouth. Keep going with this and...
Sci Fi & Fantasy / The Ancient Child : Prologue
I found this story very well written. althought as a prologue it is a tad long. It still held my interest. In this line“I am looking a jeweller,” he said " you need the word for in there. it throws off the reading.. I will look for more of this book. Good luck

Poetry / Spirit Speak
I thought it was interesting and complex. I think that as each person reads this they get a different feel for it. I do not know that you were actually speaking of a person you lost to death or a person who's spirit touched yours and is gone. I was touched by it and that is what matters. Good Luck.
I read this a couple of times. I think everyone reads into a reading something they feel. I liked it and having grown up and lived in the Washington state most of my life in tacoma, smelling the wood pulp (aroma of tacoma) I liked the way you set up your poem and the way you rolled down each piece and a new question. I think that more people need to write about the things we are destroying. I live in Germany, and they work hard and learn from childhood to preserve, conserve everything. Working...
