Highway to Heaven? ( Bizarre but true!) A little after 11:00 p.m., the highway was utterly deserted. The rain beat down in sheets causing the car to hydroplane often as I griped the wheel knuckles white. We were alone in a dark so thick you could feel it grab at you. Also comes across as a bit arrogant, perhaps intentional? This was good, "A person shouldn’t be allowed to go around spreading false information, like a polluted fire hydrant that kids refresh themselves with"...
I liked this. The only thing that kept me from giving you a 10 was you forgot to cap I-Something i knew and "yet i shared". Minor point. My favorite line? "The venom is lust"
To me, the first three paragraphs were a little difficult. A bit confusing when you talk about what seems to be two trips and having time for a drink or two. For me, the story began with "I arrived in Nürnberg about 10:45. Almost everything is closed, save the bar. I’m going to have to take pot-luck on the train. Oh, well. The “barâ I’m in right now is a study of contrast" In paragraph 6 & 7, is there a way you can make me see the old man and woman, rather than tell me about them? How is the...
