Hey all. I’m that kid, you know the one. He’s the guy harboring some mysterious confidence, prancing throughout life fueled by the implications of some secret he’s been keeping since childhood.

Not blessed with ability or great intelligence, looks or a hot bod, but with a tragic insight that both emboldens and inhibits him. He carries yours as well as his own fear. He carries your hopes on his back while dragging your broken dreams behind him.

Watch what you say to him because he has the terrible power of immortalizing you; cursing you with infamy.

I’m a 24 year old male from the North East. I want to kick ass and take names! Turn around and bend over!

Little Daisy ran with a careless abandon toward the forest, closely pursued by the boy. She laughed and teased him, expressing her girlish talents with cunning to be admired by even the most seasoned woman. She would slow momentarily and he would come within reach and try for just a touch of her soft skin; then she was gone again. The boy would watch the trail of her soft auburn hair tickle the wind like the gently swaying treetops from the distant forest. Her childish laugh would ring in his...

Gina clawed at the wall with a new and violent determination. She could feel her grasp on what was happening slowly slipping into the deep dark that surrounded her on all sides like a man-made nightmare. FUCKING HELP!" she screamed with complete mad abandon; the kind of scream reserved only for ...

Frank McGunvnie woke slowly; teetering on the edge of consciousness for a moment before the familiar aches and pains of age brought his mind to life. His glance immediately found the open window, the source of his great discomfort, and cursed himself for being so thoughtless. Twenty years ago the chill breeze hadn’t stiffened him like this. Some days his mind was still functioning like it was twenty years ago. He coughed and left the bed. Frank wiped the sleep from his eyes and greeted the m...

Short Story / Untitled #2
I liked it. I think the prose is clumsy in spots but nothing too bad. It kept me reading till the end. Good Job.

Wow, I like it. The line I'm most fond of is "--don't call me out, just find me now, don't let me disappear." That's a powerful request. On the outside your asking him not to forget you but on the inside your asking him to give you a reason to live. "-don't let me disappear." Wow, I like this alot. Good work.
Short Story / Welcome to my Life
This sounds like more of a rant than a short story. Good luck. I hope things get better for you.
I don't get it but I like it. I absolutely love the rythmn of this. It has a progressive feel to it and that's what I'm all about when it comes to poetry. Keep up the good work. I look forward to seeing more by you!
