I opened my eyes to a gray wall, a broken window, some clothes, and a torn blanket. I take a deep breath and realize, "This is my life." I walk to my kitchen in the next room, and scrape what i can out of the jar of food i ate last night. My bare feet drag accross the worn linolium floor. By now i have gotten use to the smell of rancid garbage and the scurrying of rats and other unwelcomed animals. I throw away the old, cold, dry pizza on my table. and i sit in my chair.
