Haadi parked the blue Chevy outside a busy St. Louis night club, chastising himself for stealing a car without tinted windows. A baseball game ending at Busch Stadium clogged the downtown streets with drunken patrons looking for a nightcap and a place to watch the post-game show. Laying the dull gray detonator in the passenger seat, he donned a black baseball cap retrieved from the floorboard. Bright red numerals on the dashboard clock blazed 10:56 pm. Almost time to do what he was sent for....

Eyes dazzle emerald shades- Secrets within. Words capture, thoughts evade, Dragging me in. Deep in the rabbit's hole, Love at the end. Hesitated entrance... Won't be hurt again. Dive through the rabbit's hole, Only to see- The light that lay down below Not meant for me. The destiny teasing me Not meant to be. It can be "you and I", But never be "we".

Alive and well I am today, In body and in spirit, I've learned to catch the river's sway, When oft I used to fear it. I caught a breeze upon my sail, Directed it with my oar. And with some patient steering I returned my ship to shore. So now I venture daily out, To ride upon the wind. And one day soon I'll saddle a gust, Until the river ends. And if a tempest threatens To deny me of my sport, I'll simply grab the strongest gale, And ride it into port.

The trade is fair, She thinks: Sanity for candy-coated poison. Her pupils, Like black window drapes, Draw shut. Soul now hard to see, Deliberately obstructed. Terrified of looking out As much as being looked in upon. Double-edged delight. Ecstasy draws her Deeper into despair. She begs the world to help. I offer her my shoulder That she might climb out of this hole. She only uses it to cry on.

This story is good so far. I like how you made cinderella into a little league story. I felt sad for Sadie that the coach wouldn't let her in, and if you can draw that kind of emotion from a grown man it shouldn't be too hard with kids. :) Also, the morality of the story should help kids learn about teamwork and being fair. Good work.

I like this piece. The imagery is well thought out. I hope you find flexibility!
I really like this. It reminds me of either Pink Floyd or Tool, depending on what kind of music you have for it. I like the concept. I haven't read any of the other parts, but it seems from this to be a love story between Hope and Faith. I'll have to go read the rest of this now.

The piece kept my attention well, I found the imagery intriguing. I still can't figure out what it's about though. I like how you wrote past(e) making it past or paste.
