Plautus is a ruffian from the street. He hails from no fixed address, is a shadowy lurking character and owns a hand-made ski mask with red thread sewn around the mouth.

His long and distinguished gaming career includes a stint at GenCon Indianapolis in 2005 to help run an event called True Heroes, a game sponsored by Upper Deck Entertainment.

Plautus is a political activist lobbying for decriminalization of crime. The idea is simple: without laws there will be no crimes

Non-fiction / Stellar Fusion Falsified
Version 1
15 Reviews   8 Comments
Belief in stellar fusion has plagued science for nearly a century. The idea that stars are powered internally by fusion was first proposed by Arthur Eddington. Eddington rejected without consideration the idea that the power source for stars might be external. Assuming that the sun had existed more or less in its present state for billions of years, Eddington concluded that the sun's power source must be fusion. Prior that that there had been several other hypotheses. It had even been suggest...

Short Story / Two Snakes
Version 1
6 Reviews   0 Comments
Two snakes came across each other in the seedy underbelly of the jungle. Both were constrictors, and both had been bitten trying to squeeze other snakes. Each carried different poison in its veins. When the two snakes met, they got along splendidly. Neither one bit, and neither seemed poisonous. They spent most of each day looking for small furry things to strangle and eat. When they weren't feeding or sleeping they struggled each to twine around the other to cease the itch of growth. The sna...

Non-fiction / Earth's Magnetic Field

The Earth's magnetic field is enormous. Compared to any magnetic fields generated by humans, it is truly collossal, almost unimaginably huge. The mechanism described by most researchers is the "geodynamo" idea. This idea states that heat inside the Earth churns things until they generate a magnetic field. This is a principle that apparently has no practical applications, since humans have never been able to exploit it to do work, but we have generated magnetic fields using electricity. Anothe...

Haiku/Senryu / Bacon
I love it, it's much better than Cats.
Words can't describe how indescribably gay this is, unless you use the words above.
This is pretty disturbing imagery. It's difficult to determine if this is a semi-autobiographical piece or just some emo stuff written by a child. The writer is literate enough but the metaphors seem a little strained. This piece does have the benefit of being brief. From the standpoint of a fan it would pack a lot of punch into a small package. From my point of view the brevity is nice because there was less to endure.
Short Story / An Elegy: The Sacrifice
I used to be an avid fantasy fan, I could devour just about anything, but this fails to get my interest. Perhaps if you opened with something more active than silence falling over a room and people gazing around. I managed to get through it, but it seems a bit too skeletal for me to enjoy it really. It almost seems like it's been extracted and condensed from some other source of perhaps a roleplaying game, but that's just my take on it. The writing is competent but, again, not my cup of tea, ...
Looks like a work in progress, good voice, lots of concrete examples to support the philosophy expressed.
