Short Story / The Lesson of the day: Paradox (she wasn't real)

Its so sad how we all think that there’s greater cause or something in the near future thats better to look foward to. There’s life everywhere and yet and it’s nowhere to be found when you search for it.  You’ll search and find some signs of life, believe that there is finally a break from this boredom and obsecurity.  It’s not what you’re lead to believe, it’s there, but if you think again you’ll know something isn’t right.

So you let it decieve.  It works its way in.  You enjoy a ray of sunshine and you breathe again.  It’s so childish, the memories come back to you of a time when you were popular, known by many nicknames and a time when you felt like you were on top of your game.  Such a bliss, but how far is that distance now?

Do you remember exactally how you lost that status you floated in?
though you can, you still couldn’t imagion how you’d be without it all.  Now sit, think.  You stare at your hands.  You look in the mirror, you check what time it is on the nearst resource you own.  Look at you! Stand strait for a change.

Funny, what we thought yesterdays hello – would turn into tomarrows gateway.  ’cept it was a shotgun with a flashlight…. though its not that clear as an answer, it was a brick as well.  Rather then see ball bearings travel at high velocity – that stock on the gun has your name on it, smacking your head down.

That brick feels worthy, it takes different paths.  Choose the hard way and build it to a home. Take the easy way and try to destroy the home.
Build a wall to take cover from gunfire.  Use the wall to bash a head into.  Hold it, it fits nice in your hand , good weight to it.  See – its a good plan.  knock on it to tell its solidness.

A dry summer day rolls on.  You reach for your drink and eagerly absorb it, quickly while its still cold. Your basic thirst is very similar to your lust. You found someone you could live with, someone you could understand.
That person brought back a piece of yourself that you thought was lost.  The person was the only hope left inside of you.

From the ashes you rose, and then grounded into dust you became of that person’s betrayal.  Now the hope is gone, the words once with meaning have no emotion coupled with them anymore, rendering them useless. Meaningless.

With this being said, don’t lean on someone else’s world.
And expect no one to carry your weight.  Be on your own.
