Funny. Though I MAY have written this for SOMEONE, I never mentioned their name. It seems that others are less inclined to remain anonymous about their nemesises.

I think they define it as “intentionally breaking out of Limerick form for effect.” They use the last line as an example.

Yes. Some will tell you that meter is EVERYTHING and totally ignore syllables and rhyme… or even come up with a decent punch line. Those people need to loosen up OR obey ALL the rules, not just the ones that they think are important. And if I got a 1 on Limericks, then you need to go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Limerick_%28poetry%29 and read about anti-limerick. I didn’t make it up.

Not freaking. Just wondering why every “Haiku” doesn’t get a 1 when they are so clearly Senryu. But if someone writes an anti-limerick in the limerick category, different rules apply. :p

lol well I wouldnt know, I dont write OR review haikus, too boring for me. LOL

I feel the same about the “poetry” category.  I used to write nothing but free verse. Now I can’t write or review “poetry” anymore for some reason.

LOL thats all I write, with the exception of the odd novel. BUT I dont like free verse and all but three of my pieces rhyme. But you would know, you actually reviewed me once, I think.

I would like to say that I started it, but I actually read about it on Wikipedia.
