mere words??? to me they are powerful instruments able to do many things.
Blank removes constrict, blank is more inclusive, white does seem to present a single specific, and thats not needed here.
and I am not drinking no more, it gets me into trouble.

but since you have got an 8 after 9 reviews it might pay not to listen to a fool such as I, pretty as I may be.

I would say that words are never appearing on a blank page, unless they are written in invisible ink.
the page would no longer be blank, once the words were lay their drying in black.
But I do get your drift.
Perhaps the last line could be even more startling.
“My blood-red heart reads.”

also, I was not saying that I was falling in love with the haiku
but with the writer of them, or writers in general.
is it possible to fall in love
merely because of words?
I think people do it all the time.
That is how the world has come to have
the population problem it has ;P
