Poetry / Mothers
mothers should not, could not, can not go to waste
no other could take a mother’s place
i bet when you were born,
your mother was the first one that smiled
your mother may scream at you
even go on an anger rage
don’t worry, that’s just a stage
hold on to your mother tight
she can make everything alright
you shall cherish your mother
she loves you like no other

i like it. it is a very true sentiment. i would consider changing the last line to she loves you like no other. keeping writing and working it’s not always a instant sucess.
