very hopeful yet self doubting at the same time (or maybe thats how i feel and thats how I took it!). Melodic and I love the personification of the bird and the transition to flying. The next to last verse didnt really flow like the rest of it, maybe just the arrangement of the words.

hi there,

i like the lryic, i think i would make the title,”i almost flew today” the way it’s repeated throughout the song in the chorus, (but i do believe a bird needs all his feathers to fly..lol..the good lord wouldn’t create them for nothing..lol..)...nice job..keep writing you have talent.

Hope to spare… Ifound these lines to be very powerful. The words of harness, net, and hope to spare are very powerful and makes this piece very strong. I love it.
