That’s not what I mean. This quote means that if you give a person words of wisdom, make sure that what you’re saying is actually wise.

The level of idiocy in every previous review by people who believe to recognize profundity entertains me.
“That is, like, SO TRUE! You need to choose your words wisely!”
“Not clever, been done, you’re not original.”
This statement isn’t like that oft-repeated quote at all. It’s one thing for someone use discretion in what they say in everyday conversation, it’s quite a different matter to suggest that one’s most useful words may not be useful at all.
Not to say this six-word quote is going to blow anyone’s mind, but it works in both the literal translation and in the sense that most of the people who reviewed it didn’t even understand it.

Really you could just write, “Choose your words wisely”. That applies everywhere and in every sense. It’s like, “Think carefully before you speak”
This is obviously so true if one has wisdom to share but I fear it has been said before in various and many ways so it’s not so unique alas but well meant I am sure.
Choose your perceptions carefully…
This has been said so many times, in much more original ways.
Great advice. What you say can have an effect on others, not just you. Keep up the good work.
very few words but they explaijn a lot. your words of wisdom that may be somebodys advice can greatly affect them positively or negatively. somebody who needs help may be desperate for you to give your advice. so you have to choose them wisely because you never know who may take them literally.
I think it’s a very nice variation of “Choose your words carefully.”
definatly something to think about…
“Wise words are only as good as the listener.” These are like Confucius says..etc.
A bit cliche.
I don’t find it wise to use an adjective to describe its own character.
