Well, I’m sorry that you’re bored. I’m not sure that this observation deserves the status of “quote”. Could you take this to the next level and think about what yourself says back to you when you’re bored?

I’m not sure what to do with this. On one hand, I like it. Yet, it isn’t really deep or provocative, more amusing than anything. Yet your ranking criteria had nothing about enteraining or amusing the reader, so  have to assume you were meaning this to strike people as serious, which it just didn’t for me. That being said, I did like.

Boredom takes more energy than does finding something to do
that is interesting.
I find I can’t relate to your quote at all,
because I do so like my own company!!!
but I think it is clever in that usually people
who talk to themselves are called “insane!”

True. I guess people that think all people that talk to themselves are insane now have something to think about.
