In the first sentence you say curiosity killed the cat.  Maybe in the second sentence you should refer to the curiosity instead of the cat.  Like, “If curiosity killed the cat, who inspired the curiosity?” or ”...who sent the curiosity after it?”

delete this if you want since it’s not a review but a related, funny anecdote. one time a teacher asked my classmate if he knew what happens when people assume. he replied “Assuming killed the cat?” xD

I think you could really run with that idea. Turn it into a short story or a poem. Interesting idea though.

Not necessarily deep, but pretty amusing. My main criticism is to make like you’re are handing in this work to a publisher as your final draft. Is this what you would submit? It’s that sort of mentality that keep people from harping on little things like mispelling “actually”, and focus on your message. Keep writing!

If I considered an answer to your question, then it would make me seem curious, and we all know what happened to the cat.

With a little polishing, this could be a keeper. Check punctuation and spelling.

Well, curiosity killed the cat. lol. Your quote would work if it was ‘the cat was killed because it was curious’. But at the moment (to me), it’s looking like: ‘if the pen is red… what colour is the pen??’
The question I ask myself most is: why a CAT? I guess ‘cause it starts with a C.

Philosophy major? Have you heard the one about the tree..
This is simply a warning, there is no real mystery, in that writers have been using this device for centuries. Good start here though, keep observing and writing!

Actually is spelled with one “c” and it was cute, but the original quote, in my opinion, stood stronger alone.
