i guess it really should be under poetry—the start of it anyway. i originally had written something down about how the space is ever growing leaving little behind to grasp onto. it’s something  wrote that i wanted to keep and i’m still getting used to where the appropriate place is to put bits and pieces.  it’s kinda like the points connecting two things together keep getting farther and farther apart and all i can do is watch and try to spread my arms out just a little further. does that help—or make any sense at all? let me know—i’d like the input.

Yes, actually that makes alot of sense, I just had really no context into which to place it. That was one of the other meanings I thought you might be expressing I just didn’t want to take up alot of credits with different questions.
Actually this is a really neat way to express the thought, I just think it needs more context to make itself clear.

I am glad to give honest opinions, even thought they may sometimes be clear out in left field. I feel that often they are lacking a bit on Urbis. And also many really don’t seem to want them.
I was serious when I said that this is a neat way of expressing the thought. I could see this working very well in a larger work, it would make it memorable I believe.
I will have to check out your other work.
How is the wind storm in Bellingham tonight by the way? We are really getting pounded down here in Salem.

quite windy—and then there’s the rain. snowed like 4 inches last night, but luckily it all melted away. salem, huh. and how far is that from portland? i just moved back to bellingham from fayetteville, arkansas. so the whether has been quite an adjustment. but i am so loving it. we do still have electricity--so that’s a plus-- usaully knock things out when it’s this windy.

Salem is one hour south of Portland. About 275-300 miles south of you in Bellingham. So are you Navy? I read some of your other stuff, I liked the one about the perfect night. I saw the review from the person who said that it should contain details, but I understood the poem was about the thoughts one might have while enjoying anytime that seemed especially perfect. A poem about thoughts that might be had by anybody.
We still have power down here right now. The area I live in seems to have a pretty good local power grid and we don’t seem to lose power that often. Other parts of town do though from time to time. I think it really has to do with the local substation, and how many trees they have that get knocked into power lines. I forget is Bellingham on the sound or is that on the pacific? I know that you should have the San Juan islands protecting you there a little right?
We are inland so although we get alot of rain, the wind is usually slowed by the Coastal Mountain Range, and the Willamette Valley is low enough that we seldom get any snow.
Did you drive from Arkansas? Or fly?

actually took a bus from arkansas. not in the navy. just been land locked and away from the place that makes me feel alive—bellingham. it’s a long story, and one best told over pm instead of an open forum. bellingham is about 15 minutes from canada right on the coast. belligham bay is where you can see the san juans from. i really love this cite. to get actual feedback is a great thing. and then to get to meet and talk to people with like interests is also fantastic. where do 30 somethings go to meet people—bars, and do you REALLY want to be hanging around people you think are fantastic when you’re drinking with them and then chewing off your own arm the next morning to get away. ok, so it’s not quite that extreme, but still :)
