Poetry / Made colourful with profanity

Take a step back this isn’t where you belong right now.
“Quite mature!” I say, as you slam your fist in to this old cement trap.
We are the imagination of this dissolved resolution,
The old ways are dead and buried, like your head in the political sand.

“You are only seventeen, what do you know of the capitalist world” an old man said to me not long ago.
“I know that the capitalist world is dying, we are all trying to hold it up with straws built from slave foundations.” I remarked with a dishwater expression.
Barely a rebuttal came from those tar stained lips, he died the next day.

Your dazed moments make for some great writing. This piece is fantastic. I like all the description and the line, “The old ways are dead and buried, like your head in the political sand.”
Very well stated. You definantly have talent.
