Quotes / Monument

I really liked this quote.  It was a breath of fresh air, so different from all the other quotes on this site.  Instead of think up some aphorism, which is basically all a quote it, you made it seem like it was excerpted from a moving and meaningful book.  It would work really well in a speech if you ever had an occasion.  It really captured the true spirit of things.  Regardless of whether or not we support our president or the war, we still need to be thankful for the people who fight for us.  This can even be taken a step further and doesn’t even have to apply to soldiers.  People fight for eachother every day in small ways that are just as important as the bit ones.  Great job!

You could probably just say “freed us from fear” instead of “freed us from the bite of fear”. The bite of fear just doesn’t work for me. Just my humble opinion though. Keep writing!

some spit in the faces who protect our freedoms today. it is nice for someone to recognize this in their writing thank you for that

i do agree some didn’t appreciate their sacrifices. but their heroic act should really be praised. thanx for ur review. :)

A truly admirable sentiment, and one that I agree with wholeheartedly.  Whenever I see one of our military personnel, I always make it a point to tell them how much I appreciate them and the job they are doing for us.  Even if someone doesn’t agree with the war, they should still be grateful to those men and women who are willing to put their lives on the line for this country.  Kudos.

I can’t disagree with this quote for anyone who sacrifices time, body, and soul should be praised.
