Poetry / Mother Protects
When life’s storms outweigh hope and grace, repose
On black onyx sky cameo clouds billow
Heaven’s broken souls water saphires outflow
In all Mothers hearts a garnet lantern glows
Washed ashore pearls of chance from the tide flows
On seagulls wings we touch silvery rainbows
Promise of Spring where birds of paradise grow
Her eyes of angelic lavender-blue rose
Mother the moonflower opens in the nightglow
