Can you hear me calling?

I’ve been wandering through dark valleys
but now your lamb seeks her shepherd
to remove the wool from my weary eyes
so that we can be re-united.

Because, My Love…

Your love is like a blindfold,
and I need you to guide me
better than Cupid did for Psyche.
Put me on a path to your love
that resembles geodesic paths,
and lead me there with more precision
than Cupid’s arrow.

See…

The problem is
I learned how to love
from Pandora’s lessons with Aphrodite:
I’ve spent all my time observing you
peripherally,
ignoring what was right in front of me.

King of my Dreams…

I keep a lookout for you while you’re sleeping
and protect your heart
from the cunning and sneaky.
I’ve made myself a vessel
that hides your secret heart
and I’m more efficient
than the box that held Pandora’s demons.

I need you…

Breathe life into my passion
like the fires on Mount Olympus
and then steal me away from the world
like Prometheus did …

I’m waiting.
