Poetry / Reaching Out
You make me crazy
But I love you anyway
I hardly see you
Yet you stay on my mind
You leave me confused
But I haven’t given up
I just hope you know that I care
Even all the times when you’re not there
With heart and soul
I still hold on
But I’m not psychic
So tell me if I’m wrong
You need your space
As much as I need mine
And all wounds heal
If given enough time
I like you
I love you
I think you’re a blast
I just hope that we can find each other
Before our time has passed.

I think the you needs to be developed with imagery and characteristics to really solidify this as a working poem. I as the reader cant relate at all because I know nothing about the you except the blanket qualities you assign to him/her i.e.: is a blast, but confuses and rejects. I can’t possibly feel anything about this situation and these people unless you divulge more.
