I cipher revolution through the cracks of the Earth,
The juices slip through crevices- the evidence of my birth,
The pestilence is absurd, affectin’ innocent Kurds,
Shrapnel fragments stuck like magnets in the bones of the hurt,
But I don’t see sh*t- I live in a bubble that is decievin’,
The telivision is my portal to what I be seein’,
In the comfort of my living room it’s bringing doom live,
I sit back comatose while others fight to survive,
All my life I just hide- behind the walls of comfort,
Neva question higher powers or they’ll throw me in the dungeon,
Too late- I’m already shackled- brain is programmed,
I’m settling to be a Pauper instead of a Sultan,
That’s the daily grind- everyday we live is a rewind,
Deja vu through and through- till it’s the end of our time,
Where’s the man and the woman to break through this enigma,
We need a Purer Seed to paint a brighter picture,

Our children will bleed, if we don’t wake and take heed,
The actions of today pave the way to their destiny,
So I look at me- man in mirror, death comin’ nearer,
Hold my days dearer, cuz I fear I’ll neva hear ya,
Whisper in my ear, tell me that my life had meaning,
That the aura from my essence was a lesson for our healing,
I live in fear, a pendulum between hate and hope,
Swingin’ to and fro, neva know which direction I’ll go
But that’s destiny- the rest is up to me,
To lay the mortar and the brick in the road of history…

really like the beginning to this.. the telivision is my portal… effective… everyday we live is rewind… powerful… good rhythm to it.. flows well.. many thought provoking lines
