Quotes / A hazy experience

I do not believe that weed leads to a free mind, I know that a free mind leads one to weed.

I agree with the weed not leading to a free mind, but I don’t think a free mind wants weed. I think it is the restriction of weed that makes us want it.

I’m not sure the syllogism holds true actually, for week tends to free the mind from the constraints reality puts on it, and I’m not sure that all who have free minds, whatever that really means, perhaps open minds, partake in weed for various reasons, some people just do not like it, and one person I know, though she likes it, it makes her puke so she avoids it. Unless I’ve read this all wrong. Interesting attempt though.

Free of what? Reason or prejudice?
Would “open mind” work as well?

i like the assonance of weed and leads.

i also like how you’re kind of suggesting the pre-disposition rather than conversion of a weed-consuming mindset.

it’s a potent observation that certainly won’t go up in smoke. i weedy like it.

Any value in weed may only be perceived.  Our senses are what makes us truly special beings. Anything that dulls those senses only serves to rob us of our humanity. Though, I am not anti-pot, I caution users to beware thinking it is a valuable resource.  It often makes people “feel” invincible, creative, etc, but I have yet to see “make” them so.
