yes, I keep meaning to change that. Thanks!
Poetry / Harlot Named Gale (Analysis)
On the breast of a Harlot named Gale,
Was tatooed the price of her tale.
Yet on her behind,
For sake of the blind,
Was the same information in braille.

Are you sure your grandfather created this? There are many versions of it floating around. The second line usually refers to the “prices of Ale” whilst the first line usually refers to a barmaid from… Hale, Vail, Yale, etc. The rest goes:
Whilst on her behind
for the sake of the blind
was exactly the same but in braille.
It may be that your father is indeed the original creator. If so he deserves to be recognized. But can you tell us his name and if he had it published at the time and how long ago this was?
Greetings
Nice Limerick. You might want to use tail instead of tale, as I doubt she was selling a story.
Entertaining! I would have love to have known your Grandfather. An amusing verse of work. I wish he would have added 7 to 10 more verses. It could have been quite a story. But, short and sweet is okay. I love it!!!
Exact number of syllables, excellent diction, a true and pristeen example of limerick. Very nice.
haha.. very funny… i liked it! this should be in the limerick section though! you’re gramps sounds like he was one cool dude…
Cute, may he have the same pleasures in the after life should there be one.
Seems like a typical limerick all I needed was an irish pub and a glass of half and half. It made me smile. Grandpa should be proud.
Best original limerick I’ve read!
This is a wonderful limerick. It’s well constructed and just dirty enough to be funny but not offensive. I loved it. I bet your Grandfather has the angels in stitches.
