Poetry / For You
If my dream becomes unreal,
then what will happen next?
These emotions which I feel,
seem far to complex.
To describe in mortals words,
the joy that I have found.
As if Lady’s and thier Lord’s,
had cast treasure ‘pon the ground.
For a begger such as I,
to pick a jewel from heaven’s eye.
Picked it up and with a cry,
held it where I lie.
Next to she who completes,
the circle of of my path.
Cares not for my feats,
nor the history of my wrath.
She cools with but a touch,
and woos with but a smile.
And almost as if too much,
understands my guile.
Which cunningly she hides,
behind innocence and rouge.
Visits as the tides,
when it fits her moods.
Fire and bellow forth,
the passion of lover’s steam.
That poet’s hold thier worth,
‘pon words of trance-like dream.
A beaut of angel’s gift,
a softly rippling laugh.
As if the clouds were torn adrift,
and sunshine given path.
Turns when least expected,
as a crush becomes a love.
And pray this heart protected,
to rise and soar above.
Calamities that are found,
by brave souls who risk it all.
Two lost hearts which are found,
beneath Apollo’s turning ball.
Which if it were to burst,
may her memory be so kind.
And say I was not the worst,
heart that she could find.
So whatever comes to pass,
with hallowed words of bliss.
One favor that I ask,
and that is but a kiss..
