Poetry / Without You (Analysis)
You are the air I breathe.
You are the oxygen that fills my lungs.
You are the wind that moves me.
I would suffocate without you.
You are the food that keeps my body running.
You feed the never-ending hunger that nourishes my soul.
You are the nutrients that keep me alive.
I would starve without you.
You are the water that quenches me when I am parched.
You are the running cascade of liquids to cool my impatient mouth.
You satisfy my need for fluids by liquefying my body in your arms.
I would thirst without you.
You are the blood pumping through my veins.
You are the crimson lifeline that feeds my heart.
You are the life in my soul.
I would die without you.
