Poetry / I Wish You Knew
I WISH YOU KNEW
I wish you knew the pain that you made me feel,
would it be your turn to cry?would it make it real?
The tears that dropped when I was turned away,
The silent agony of all I couldn't say.
I wish that you knew the prayers I sent above,
Lord save me,take me away from this tormented "love",
would you have then knowing, felt my despair?
And I was alone, noone could see I was held there.
I wish that you knew that my then servant's heart,
made me prisoner to you, trapped with no way to part.
I wish that you knew I saw through all your lies,
you thought you had me convinced, but I'd just silently despise.
I wish you knew the so many times I wished to die,
I was never afraid of you or anyone, and now you know why.
If I'm gonna go down,I'm gonna do it with a fight,
can't do it to myself,I still believe in wrong and right.
I wish that you knew God gave me my way out,
and I'll never go back to that, don't care what it's about.
I wish that you knew that I still can't be free,
I still always find myself hiding what I could never show, all of me.
I wish that you knew you may have ruined my whole life,
but I forgive you,I'm sure you had your own share of strife.
I wish you knew,I wish you knew,There's soo much I wish you knew,
but I could never talk to you,I could only see through.
