The rich and powerful can do almost anything, and very few of the rich will disagree. It’s the poor that have few rights. I think this quote goes well beyond African Americans, “Gangsta Rappers” and Rich White People, as power and prejudice have so little to do with skin tone and more to do with individual perceptions of it.
