Non-fiction / I Don't Remember

I Don't Remember!

Those 3 little words made everyone on our school's Mock Trial team drop.

This girl walked up to the witness stand, knowing her affadavit you can tell by her face, and looked that crowd in the eye and screamed "I don't remember!!" to the crowd when asked to answer questions from her affadavit, she was the  victim for crying out loud. Blatantly lying and cheating, this school made the top 2 at the competition.

Everyone on our team makes fun of this silly hilarious phrase and what a great prank call phrase it is when you use it in this tone.

I learned two things that day:

1. Apparently, cheating can win state competition without getting disqualified

and

2. I don't remember is a really good catch phrase for court. ;)

cute! I will always remember that day – especially the way you retell it and capture her voice perfectly.

Couple of specifics:

knowing her affadavit, you could tell by her face, and looked that crowd in the eyes and screamed,

actaully that sentence is really long – I might consider reworking it – you could add in details about how she looked – or how the court room looked to help break it up.

I’d use cheaters can win versus cheating – cause technically cheating can’t win – but cheaters can.

I like it – it’s just really short – fluff with nice details – I remember that girl’s hair.
