 in the past they settled near it
provided them a ready source of food

the act of following
seemed to provide a purpose

the streams twists and turns

they could easily relate it
their lives to

being its subjects
in a life where

their jobs feeding and surviving

caused just a moment of release
pressure off gravity of earth
