Man…seriously, that is a heavy song. The title itself just draws me to it.
Here’s some quotables:
“And Im not scared
But Id like to know how this will end
I dont know right now
But Im gonna break your fucking trend”
That itself was a probably the part I loved best. You used a curse word, but hey, don’t we all? Personally, (And this is coming from a Punk/Grunge/Alt. fan) I would have done something like this
“And I’ll never be scared
I wanna know how this will end
I really don’t know right now
But I’ll fucking break your trend”
That is how I’d do it, but yours is just as equal.
Other than that, it’s a great song. Keep it up. (Oh, I read on your profile that your looking for a label. I hope you get discovered, because this is good quality stuff here.)

With lyrics, brevity is important and this lyric possesses that. My favorit stanza is the second: “And I’m not sure, if there’s a will for me to breathe, but how can I keep going, when you’ve got me on a leash.” I am a huge fan of all forms of rhyme.
The chorus, fourth line starting: “But when it’s done, I’ll win, you’ll see”
What is “it’s”? How does the writer know that he will win? What will the writer win?
The title, “Victims of Defeat” made me want to read the lyric…good hook!
