"Art in the Dark II”
You’re bathed in light
Everyone sees--
It’s darkness to me.
I long for but cannot possess
The vertigo of your eyes.
Close them: they’re entrancing.
Rugged child,
Prospecting beauty
From chaos and sound--
Slip your hands behind your back:
They’re treacherous.
The cadence of your steps pierces me
As you walk politely past.
Your pulse is the compass for my wandering.
Deny me your presence: It’s consuming.
And this desire,
It makes me high: I’m dangerous.
In the still gallery of my haunted heart,
Burning the wall, you become art.
…you are a beautiful consequence.

Hi there,
This ia mental art. I love how this piece pulls the reader in. You draw such delightful visuals here. These words I have pasted below are pure writing genius. How you ever came up with the line about the pulse being your emotionally tugging compass is clever beyond mention. You have such a way of saying/ not saying that cannot be touched. Mind Candy at its finest!
