Quotes / Waste Of Time
Maybe if I referred to "time" as "life,"
I would be less inclined to waste so much of it.

You would think that – I’ve known people on the brink of death and they still waste “time” or “life” as we’ve called it. People will still assume that they are invincible or that death is an occurance that doesn’t quite apply to them.
I believe each moment deserves it’s own holiday – we are so lucky to be able to go home and hug the people we love, or if we can’t at least call them – people and time are taken too much for granted…
In otherwords, I agree wholeheartedly with this quote..

I like this. It conveys that simply by viewing the same thing in a different aspect makes it that much more valuable. Really makes me think about “We can not change what happens to us but can control how it effects us”. But the question is do you waste less time after writing this?
Wow, I am suitably impressed. Impressed that you are espousing a concept that takes some of us most of our lives to understand.
The only small insignificant observation I might make is to suggest you universalize this a bit by changing you “I’s” to ‘we’. That would take this, in my opinion from a 9 to a 10 simply because a quote should, again in my opinion, be a universal concept or thought.
And by the way, you need to rethink your opinion of yourself. You have a great talent and if you keep this up will be a great success.
hi there,
good idea…and good quote…i couldn’t agree with you more, very cleverly written….:)...jim
Simple, yet profound, as I feel a true quote should be. I think the word “perhaps” would be better suited than “maybe”, but quotes are quotes after all.
