Here I am, life, I stand before you.

Nothing less... nothing more.

Confidence it seems, that is what I wore.

Why?... That is what you most adore.

Here I am, life, I stand before you.

You call me kind, you call me sweet.

I did not lie, I did not cheat...

That's just the girl, you wanted to meet.

Here I am, life, I stand before you.

A simple mess, inside and out.

Uncertainty, my favored route.

Confused I am, without a doubt.

Here I am, life, I stand before you.

Nothing more...nothing less.

Insecure it seems, when naked and unpressed.

Why?... That's what I am, at best.
