Yes, because writing can be healing. Therapy. Excellent.

Though this sounds nice, I would say it’s a bit common – stuff to do with the soul and journeys. Not that there’s anything wrong with these stuff, but it’s turning into cliche and hence lacks originality.

Hm…very interesting. I really like the piece overall, but what do you mean by the “greatest medical journey?” Is writing supposed to be a form of “medical research” for one’s soul, or is it meant to be interpreted as writing is supposed to be healing? That got me, and I’m curious as to what your interpretation is. I like the use of punctuation here, the capitalization of “the” works very well.

To me, it was an attempt at describing the healing process that has happened to so many writers, as they write. Everytime I write and I’m feeling stressed, or in pain, or sad or what ever it is…writing helps me get through that. The whole writing process can be seen as a journey…one that heals. So that’s basically my interpratation.

I think it’s more medicinal than any drug on the planet.
Writing is an extention of our emotional journey while we’re here, its also to keep us alive when we’re no longer breathing.

This has so much depth for so little words, i’ve enjoyed a lot of these 6 word memoirs, but this would be one of my favourites.

this is very orginal..but in my opinion the soul has nothing to do with a medical situation..physical…but you got a good idea…the soul and the journy part…but replace the medical aspect of it and you’ll have alot better quote..jim
