Haha, this is very cute. I love the metaphor. The only thing that doesn’t sit well with me is the word “up”. It just doesn’t sound right to me. Still, this is a great quote. =]

Well, “to marry up” means to marry at a higher status then your own. Back in the day, if a poor girl married a well-known rich man, she “married up.” I wanted to give the idea that I was on the same level as the other “frogs” until I met my husband. ;-)
