Everything between us is fine;
As long as he doesn’t touch me.
I can ignore him, I can forget about him,
I can pretend he doesn’t exist;
As long as he doesn’t touch me.
Because in those moments,
When my rational mind is gone,
And all I can do is enjoy the touch,
Wish for more,
Feel him near me,
Wish it meant something with all my heart.
In those moments…everything is perfect,
And nothing is all right.
I pull back and the weakness fades.
I am strong.
I will resist.
I don’t want this.
Until I feel his arms around me,
And all I’m aware of is how close he is,
How much I enjoy it,
How desperately I wish he wasn’t blind.

i found this a little depressing. Everyone has the chance to be loved, no matter what they look like… and love doesn’t come from the eyes… and beauty fades dear.
