Haiku/Senryu / Lull in July

Very smooth. The strength is in the descriptions. Does nature rest when the weather is hot? Snakes hunt water,but i suppose most things feel more lazy in the heat. Good analogy of a summer day in July. Yes, summer ends too quickly. I believe you could have said more to make this more potent. For example, you could have told the reader why nature rests more in the heat. You could have describes the intense rays of the sun, so on. You could have added more descriptions, to make it stand out. sANDI
