I really like this! It’s sort of like someone is peering into your eyes and reading your life story. Very clever. Thank you for sharing. Btw, I wouldn’t change a thing. :)

not goin to point out the obvious in this one. but this says to me how thrilling it is to have the mind wander openly, and how scary it is to some people. if only more people would listen to the stories that the mind tells.
As for short story, I think “begins” takes the “story” out of it. The sentence doesn’t tell a story, it introduces the story.
As for the contest, this works well! :) It could describe a life (in that not many of us feel our lives are ever complete), is only 6-words, and is exciting. Well done :)
To be honest, I don’t really like this one. The capitalization makes it feel weird. Additionally, I don’t think it has much to do with life; it’s rudimentary and only addresses perhaps your creative process. It has no emotion or feeling in it. No passion.
Try switching the order of the first two words. I think you mean the possesive “mind’s” now the plural “minds”. Also Drop some of the capitalization or use it consistently. See below:
Curtains Open: The Mind’s Monologue Begins!
Nice image. I like it!
this is nice…for me the curtains would simply be opening my eyes after a nap. as soon as an artist wakes, they’re usually creating something, even if only in the mind.
I really enjoyed this 6 word piece.
Good work. Better than most I’ve seen. Appears to be wel thought out.
