Young Adult / Inverted Truth
In this world, nothing is safe and no one in this life can say they feel like everyone around them is telling the truth…
I know for a fact all of us have lied and never felt like I can tell the truth all today.Who says that? have you…I don’t know but all I know is that nothing in this world is built on truth and making someone feel like I know what I feel is true…
I know a lot of people that are reading this right now are thinking but a lie here and there won’t hurt…sure why not…but in the end when that lie is said, what good does it do?...
Sure telling someone something that they want to hear can make them feel good, but all your doing is making them believe what they want to. In a sense making them live to something that isn’t what they are. Why cradle each other? Don’t we do that for ourselves already? Lying to ourselves about anything to make ourselves feel better…Your never going to look at yourself and tell yourself “Fuck you need to get on a diet!” no you say “I’m a little chunky and I know I can just eat a little less and I’ll see a difference.” sure….but when your unhealthy and you know it could cause you to loss more and more of yourself in food what then? I know that’s a easy one to pick on. But if I really go into it I’ll right a mini essay haha…
All I know is that… who can say they feel like “Im being told the truth.” not me, I know someone will lie to make me feel good about myself. I get that all the time, we should look at ourselves in the mirror and ask, “Am I being told the truth about who I am…when i know that I am who I am and not something they see me for.”
I don’t know I’m just rambling…I bet I’ll have something to go against this later.

Deceit isn’t what damages you, it’s the truth. Each lie contains integrity in a different form. To be honest, I’m a bit cynical towards humanity, but I do believe in the balance between the positive and negative energy that we are composed of. Each individual covers themselves in masquerades, an illusion. Sometimes it’s difficult to unmask those around us for many are dextorious in constructing their glamour.
