I was jotting these things accross the full range of emotion. This one was darker than most of my tries, but it was (in my opinion) the best. I don’t know anyone who is free of regrets…though some have delt with theirs better than others. Thanks for the review ;)

This is nicely worded. I’m curious about what you regret? Have you not done what you would like to do or are you sorry for something you’ve done?
i like it. your writing speaks the truth. it is often that outer unclarity that results in inner darkness and unsureness. best of luck to you.
This is mirror in which i see my own face. Quite effective!
Good bit. Dripping with truth.
Makes me think of foggy nights in San Francisco.Gloomy nights.Crowded bars. It’s nice.
A nice little look at what’s inside. Hints at a past. Very cool.
The the “Poe”etic 6-word sentence. I think it leaves too dreary and dull a sense to really send shakes of thought up someone. It’s close, but I think it needs more shock to it’s final phrase.
While this is on the dark side, I believe it will create curiosity enough for the reader to continue.
I think this is too personal and too specific to your own experience. Granted it’s a memoir, but at the same time an effective memoir is one that others can relate to. I did not get the feeling that “I’ve been there” nor did this spawn any images of events in my head.
