Cryptic and crammed. Forces a second read, but there is a lot of meaning in there!

Again, I believe you have posted this in the wrong section.
quite the intresting contrast, yet so real.
Isn’t this a pain? Six words- I cough six words. Encapsulating a life is a difficult enough task, but when you’re forced to reduce it down to roughly a third of a haiku, it’s even harder.
My only suggestion, because I honestly like where you’re going and how it’s said, is to change “Eternal singledom” to the more grammatically correct: Eternally single. That’s essentially it. The concept of a “friendly enemy” is something I’m sure most people can relate to. Good job.
Very bittersweet yet poignant (as most poignant things are I suppose).
humorous.
good word juxtaposition.
i love it. i wish i would have thought of it. it has all the sage wisdom of a prophet and all the melancholy optimism of a disenchanted youth. best of luck to you
-Gives the undertone of wanting to be single. I like it. Good job.
think it is interesting, made me think…..the friendly enemy is not as powerful as eternal singledom, wish you could come up with another phrase for end…......
I really like this piece, but find it a stretch to say this is a memoir about the life of a writer. Yes, it’s about you, a writer, but it would still be about you if you weren’t a writer. Unless you’re suggesting that you’re single because you’re a writer…
