I hope that all illusions cease for all people and that we can handle reality as it is without any encumberance.

These six words hold a lot of truth in them. It should probably be categorized under quotes though.

Dissillusion hmm yes I know exactly what you mean. I like this one alot.
I love it, but hope it is not true for you.
I really understood this piece…but that’s where I think it goes wrong really. In a way, I feel that a memoir should really be more personal and this could be applied to so many people. Though I suppose if you were trying to write something that a lot of people could relate to, then this is great. Hope that makes sense, and thanks for sharing!!
I love this quote. WHile it’s not anything outstanding, (no offence) It really captures the writers heart
I love this one! It made me think, and I liked how it had a sense of “enlightenment”. Great work!
Nice alliteration of the 2nd and 3rd words. True too – we see people losing faith wherever we look, as well as what we ourselves perceive.
Change “discover.” To be disillusioned means to discover something (that your illusions weren’t what you thought). Otherwise, I can relate.
This one is okay but I think I like the
“Flying by pantseat, adventures prove publishable” way better that has a ring to it.
through writing we see the true world, there are no illusions. very good, i think you have a good chance with the memoir contest.
