Six Word Memoir is great. Spread the word.
Nice!
Only possible suggestion I can think of is that you could possibly turn ‘Bummer’ into a seperate sentence, so it appears more distinguished as a comment on the situation.
Oh! It’s a painful and funny read all at once! Good job.
Been there, done that. Very Hemingway.
Yes indeed, that about manages to sum up the most memorable moment that comes to my mind from throughout my entire writing history (not that long). The only thing that I would change is bummer to disaster, merely because my own experiences of losing a lot of work in one moment have been just that, a disaster rather than something mildly irritating.
This has happened to many of us, feel bad for you. But this is a single incident and not a memoir of a creative life, a journey you’ve taken on the road to creativity. I’d give it another shot! Good luck!
LOVE IT! You met the criteria, amused me, and who hasn’t been there.
I really liked this one! Oh, what frustration that is! I also would like to note that this is the first one I’ve read today that tells me something about the writer’s life, or at least a part of it. My question is: is bummer an acceptable word?
That six-word piece almost made me cry. I know the feeling, it just happened to me recently as well. I think every single digital-age writer can relate to this…
