I can see where this is very “creative” specific, and writing specific, but is it adequate as a memoir? It sounds like a single point in time to me, not a reflection on a lifetime. Terror is also such an abstraction, and there’s little chance, in six words, to show the reader what terror means to you in this instance. Now something like, “Blank pages, long days, longer nights.” That would infer, to me anyway, some of the anxiety you feel, without having to ever point it out. For what it’s worth.

This is a good effort, but does not have WOW! factor.
Try relooking it perhaps. There could be a more entertaing way to relay this fear you have.
