You might want to put more thought into this one. Yes, we all wish they keyboard had escape keys, because we are all trying to escape personally in some sort of way, but the reader of this will know, for sake of humor, or reality, that the keyboard has more than an escape key, it has a tab key, home row keys, etc. Overall, for a laugh, it was okay

Is this an original thought or idea? If it is poor you if you only have escape keys. Writing requires hard work from which there are no short cuts and especially no escape. Hopefully what you write will let others escape into your vivid descriptions and fast paced, smooth flowing, well written story or novel.
Very good. When I read it I looked down at my keyboard and imagined all of the letters and numbers replaced with “esc” which I thought was a really cool image. You took that and gave it meaning by illuminating the fact that we write to get away from something else. Brilliant, I wish I wrote it.
Enjoyed the bleakness of this very much.
Ha. It’s your keyboard. I guess you would know. Very Good. I use the escape key 100 times a day. Sandi
I like this, because it says a very great deal about your writerly self. The image of that keyboard on which, not words, but only escapes, can be found and made is very powerful to me. This is a very simple statement that manages to say a whole lot, and pack a decent punch at that!
It’s better than a lot of what I’ve seen here. It just doesn’t do much for me.
