its very simple and i dont get how u cant see you. society is divided by small and large forms of hatred and extreme intolerance. and the only time the bulk of society joins together is when a mass threat dangers us all. Like pearl harbor, 9/11, etc. then after the big threat is gone we then go back to hating and killing eachother. this quote is simple and its meaning is in black and white.

Very deep and good, a bit wordy though. You may want to put this into 2 lines, removing the word “and”. Also perhaps say ”...the hatred…” and ”...the common…”
Hope this helps!

Hmm, this assumes all people have hatred toward one another which is a false postulate, some of the people may have hatred for some of the people some of the time but not all of the people all of the time I think. Hate is a very strong word and I’m sure we all experience it at times. But how does hatred unite us all and threaten us all? I’m not sure exactly sure what this quote is trying to say as written. I would work on clarity on this one.
