The jury is out
All rumors are true
We could’ve been epic
The story of me and you

A love spanning decades
Blood shed and gore
Many countries all a buzz
A mess of folk lore

No matter what would happen
Together we would be
No arguments we’re not perfect
But it was always you and me

Noone writes song
About love without any pain
If things were easy
Love wouldn’t be a game

I wanted things to work out
And I’m sorry that they didn’t
But now I’ll never see you
And I can’t believe how hard I’ve been hitten
