Poetry / Nothing Of Your Body Unsoiled
The sour apple lolly pop
left a greenish hue to you teeth.
Yumm, I lick them
because they are mine
and the taste is delicious;
and because
I shall have nothing of your body
unsoiled by my saliva.

This is a bit confusing. It seems to be saying that the narrator is licking the lollypop residue off someone’s teeth, which are his to own. He owns the teeth of someone else? It’s a little extreme I fear. The question arises that if they are that intimate, hasn’t he licked her teeth before during a kiss? I suppose this is meant to be a statement of passion but it falls flat to me.

It should be “ON your teeth”, actually.
Very fun, cute, and clever little love poem.
I like it! :)
Although this came across as sort of gross, I thought it was effective. But can you find a different word than “soiled”? Why not something positive?
You forgot the “r” at the end of “your.”
