Poetry / Reflections of a Soul
Those wall are so high, yet you still wear that vest
You share all the burdens, and bare all the stress
Pushed to you limits, can it be just a test
Lies emphasize the noose round your neck
A small little soldier standing strong at attention
Posed as a person whose fighting repression
Claiming to search for a true definition
Ignoring a world that’s full of suggestions
Reflections of a soul that’s seen the impossible
Finding your dreams no more than an obstacle
What’s left to your hand besides being responsible
Life’s left you to deal with more than is possible
Wronged by so many you thought you could trust
Survived all the battles yet still were not touched
Relationships shattered, destroyed to a dust
Conceivably knowing your world has been crushed
